2009, Year of Us is the third extended play (EP) by South Korean boy group Shinee. It consists of six tracks and it incorporates alternative rock and hip-hop music genres. The digital version of the album was released on October 19, 2009, with a physical release on October 22. The title track, "Ring Ding Dong", was released on October 14, 2009, through various music sites.

They also released a slew of singles there, making Oricon chart history as the first foreign band to have their first three singles enter the chart in the Top Three. In 2013, Shinee released their third Korean album, Dream Girl, Vol. 1: The Misconceptions of You. Its sibling, Why So Serious?: The Misconceptions of Me, arrived a few months later and topped the Billboard World Albums chart.
