From the album TAKIN' IT EASY (1978). Well I've driven half my life under the city lights. I'm gonna meet the San Jose Bay Workin' hard 'til the sunrise, I've been at it so long Got to pack my bags and get me away. Now come on down, doo doo-yoo doo, takin' it easy Come on down, doo doo-yoo doo, everything nice and slow Doo doo-yoo doo, takin' it easy. Soon I'll be saying goodbye. Well those foggy days and nights in San Francisco, got me feelin' so down Drivin' cabs for peanuts ain't my idea of livin'.

Takin' It Easy is the ninth studio album by Seals and Crofts, released in 1978 by Warner Bros. It was their last album to contain any charting singles. You're the Love" reached in early 1978 and the title track reached later the same year. The title track was noteworthy because of a more aggressive, rock-oriented approach than was the band's usual fare. The cover photograph was taken at the historic Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana. Studio album by. Seals and Crofts.

Takin' It Easy is the tenth studio album by Seals and Crofts, released in 1978 by Warner Bros. Takin' It Easy" (Sean MacLeod, Bob Phillips).

In 1969, Seals and Crofts decided to go on their own and released their self-titled debut album that year. While generally considered less rock than adult contemporary, the duo nonetheless spent the ‘70s racking up several significant chart successes. These are the top 10 Seals and Crofts songs. Even though they managed to pull a hit out of ‘You’re the Love,’ the first single from their 1978 album, ‘Takin’ It Easy,’ the song sounded like nothing else surrounding it, leaving the duo without a suitable follow-up single. They threw caution to the wind and decided to take a shot with the title track, which only made it to No. 7. Crofts later admitted that the song was "too disco," but the chorus remains as catchy as ever. From: 'Diamond Girl' (1973).
