Living Proof ‎(2xLP, Album, Gat). This is a hands down classic of the disco era, capturing the mighty Sylvester and the Two Tons O Fun at their peek; 35 years on, Living Proof's continued relevance, exhuberance and uniqueness has only become more apparent. 3 parts live and 1 part studio recording, Living Proof present Sylvester at a key point of transition in his career where he is moving more toward his soul and cabaret roots, and paying homage to the disco that took him over the top. It is also a few years before he would go on to define NRG music and then ultimately to be taken by AIDS.

Talk about Sylvester - Living Proof

GAZANIK
This is a hands down classic of the disco era, capturing the mighty Sylvester and the Two Tons O Fun at their peek; 35 years on, Living Proof's continued relevance, exhuberance and uniqueness has only become more apparent. 3 parts live and 1 part studio recording, Living Proof present Sylvester at a key point of transition in his career where he is moving more toward his soul and cabaret roots, and paying homage to the disco that took him over the top. It is also a few years before he would go on to define NRG music and then ultimately to be taken by AIDS. The vinyl version is currently the more complete document as the cd omits what was side four - the studio recordings ( Can't Stop Dancing and In My Fantasy). A deluxe reissue would be welcomed.
