Come is the fifteenth studio album by American recording artist Prince. It was released on August 16, 1994 by Warner Bros. At the time of its release, Prince was in a public dispute with his then-record company, Warner Bros. The album would be Prince's final Warner Bros. album under his name. For the remainder of his contract with the company, his name would be represented by the "Love Symbol", and he would be referred to as "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince".

Prince wasn't yet a huge star when he opened for the Rolling Stones on Oct. 9, 1981. Fans booed the singer off the stage while throwing food at his band. Imagine 94,000 people throwing food at each other; it was the craziest thing I had ever seen in my life, remembered bassist Brown Mark, who had just joined Prince’s band. I got hit in the shoulder with a bag of fried chicken; then my guitar got knocked out of tune by a large grapefruit that hit the tuning keys. After Prince played Jack U Off, one fan remembers promoter Bill Graham coming on stage in an attempt to calm the field-level hordes, to little avail. Prince and pals stopped the set partway through their fourth song, Uptown, amidst a stadium’s worth of boos.

Come on I gotta see you, baby Come on I don't mean maybe Come on I've gotta make you see That I belong to you And you belong to me. Come on, come on, come on, come on. More on Genius.

Some of the songs are good, but there's nothing on Come that Prince hasn't done before; he even sounds bored on certain tracks. On top of that, the album has no obvious singles, making it a nightmare to sell. Not surprisingly, the album flopped.
