Willpower is the second studio album by the American band Today Is the Day, released on September 1994 by Amphetamine Reptile Records. The album was recorded just a few months after Steve Austin's father, whom he had not seen for months by this period of time, died in a violent car crash.

Exploring distrust, loyalty, death, passion, memory, and excess in the span of nine songs, this album certainly runs the emotional gamut. Changes in mood are echoed by sea changes in volume and dynamics, Austin's high-pitched scream yielding to a breathy, near-silent spoken whisper in the space of a few measures.

Tellingly, Today Is the Day's sophomore release was entitled Willpower and through pure force of will it brings the listener into its raw world of pure emotional power. Most of the band's recordings make extensive use of dissonance and sampling, as well as unusual production techniques and psychedelic overtones.
