A double-decker bus is a bus that has two storeys or decks.

Redirected from Here Come the Double Deckers!) Here Come the Double Deckers was a 17-part British children's TV series from 1970 to 1971, revolving around the adventures of seven children whose den was an old red double-decker London bus in an unused junk yard. A co-production between British independent film company Century Films and the television division of 20th Century Fox, it was a children's adventure sitcom. The shows (without adverts) are about 22 minutes in length.

Double-deckers no longer used in general transportation have now converted to camping homes and mobile holiday homes and some even as mobile cafés. One Routemaster, in particular, has been transformed into a mobile theatre. In the Harry Potter movie: The Prisoner of Azkaban A Routemaster was used turning it into a triple-decker.

Double-decker buses are taller than other buses. They are extensively used in the United Kingdom, where perhaps the most famous is the Routemaster used in London, which is now being phased out (as of 2005). Most of the buses in Hong Kong and about half in Singapore are double-deckers as well. A few are also used as tour buses, especially in New York and Paris. Some double-decker buses have an open upper deck, with no roof and shallow sides. Missing image Go Train 046. Double-deck rail car operated by GO Transit, Ontario, Canada. Other double-deck railcars do not have a full upper deck but on the left and on the right a gallery, each with a row of single seats. An example is the bilevel cars provided and leased in the . by Midwest Transportation & Development Corporation of Chicago.
