At first look, Interstellar Experience looks like a pretty interesting album look just from the album cover. A weird goblin in space with the band members’ heads on its claws; what’s not to like? I just wish the music lived up to the awesome album cover. When Assassin is discussed it’s always The Upcoming Terror this, The Upcoming Terror that. Interstellar Experience’ is even bashed by people for not living up to the debut. I wonder why. Maybe because ‘Interstellar Experience’ has far less traditional metal influences and shifts a bit towards crossover sometimes? Not being 'The Upcoming Terror' doesn't imply being bad per say. The average pace is high.

Interstellar Experience was better than I could imagine, there were very few songs that I didn’t enjoy, it was from this album I’ve heard the cover that Invocator did, that song was Abstract War, a catchy ‘’classic’’ thrash song with a heavy structure and crunchy riffing. Assassin never really impressed the people with their raw, quite generic but still energetic thrash, maybe it was because that there were already thrash bands that could deliver a more varied and a more well-executed tpye of thrash-metal which was more influencing.
