Alex Reece (born Alexander Reece, Barnet, England) is a drum and bass artist. He popularized the use of two-step breaks in drum and bass, and was an influence of the jazzstep sound, a mix of drum and bass and jazz. Reece was one of the musicians in the Metalheadz collective, and has also worked under the pseudonym of Fallen Angels. Although he was most interested in acid house and early Detroit techno, Reece came to prominence in the mid-1990s as a jungle star. Reece began DJing in the late 1980s

I remember picking this up a few years ago and thought it might be good, and basically this is Blue Amazon making a remix of Candles in their usual fashion but at slower jungle speeds (the lower 150's). The quainter pads & sounds that Reece used are replaced with the typical sounds used in 90's epic house and drums are changed from a drum break into a 909 breakbeat. However it does work remarkably well when pitched down -8 and played in a trance set which is where this track is most suited.
