The album itself won't be mistaken for a major work, but it succeeds in appreciating the freer things in life. Wife Linda is a natural with the camera and her pictures enhance the music's feel. The sound of this 2011 remaster is the best I've heard "McCartney" since my vinyl copy way, way back. The bonus audio disc is rather short - but I'm glad it's on a separate disc, as the material is not up to the standards of the released album (as is usually the case with bonus tracks) The track that stood out for me was the in-progress backing tracks for "Oo Yo. The demo version of "Suicide" is only interesting because you can hear it in the context of the ending of "Glasses" from the released album.

The studio version of this song was never released as a single (no tracks on the album were), but it is one of the most enduring songs on McCartney's first solo album. A concert version was released as a single in 1977 to promote the Wings Over America live album.
