Pocket Promise's debut release was a five track ep entitled 'WAVING AT STRANGERS' (February 2008). The ep was widely lauded on its release. A laidback, low lit, melodic affair, the tracks were taken from a 15 track recording session produced by David Odlum (Glen Hansard, The Frames, Gemma Hayes, Redneck Manifesto, David Kitt, Josh Ritter) and recorded in Blackbox Studios, France (The Last Shadow Puppets, Archie Bronson Outfit) in Summer 2007
