Overseer - Wreckage flac album

Wreckage is the debut full-length studio album by British DJ/producer Robert Howes . It was released on August 26, 2003 via Columbia Records. Most of its tracks have been featured in an advertisement, films, video games, trailers and television shows. Track 1 contains elements from "We'll Bring the House Down" by Slade. Track 4 contains elements from "In the Morning Time" by Tramaine. Track 5 contains elements from "Let Me Clear My Throat" by DJ Kool.

Rob Overseer (born Robert George Howes) is an English DJ/producer, born in Oxford whose works have been included in soundtracks for Blade III: Trinity, Animatrix, Snatch, Any Given Sunday and The Girl Next Door, as well as video games like Gran Turismo 3, Edgar Torronteras& Extreme Biker, Need for Speed: Underground, SSX 3, NFL Gameday 2004, several Matchstick Productions ski films, Stuntman, Twin Caliber (Rage Software, 2002) which was used to promote his then new EP "Force Multiply" in game's manual.

Rob Overseer is yet another in a series of DJs sitting in their basements in northern England (in this case, Leeds) with a lot of machines creating electronic dance music and ethereal soundscapes. If much of his debut album Wreckage sounds familiar to almost anyone who hears it, there are two reasons. One is that its collages of beats, sampled instruments, raps, and repeated chants are not unlike the work of Fatboy Slim and Moby, to name only the most well-known purveyors of the same style.
