Sinner DC's CRYSTALLIZED starts slowly, with the steady thump of "Go From the Stream," but "Anyway" brings in the symphonic rock feel. Golden Horses" brings back the galloping techno, though with some flanged rock guitar overtones. The vocals aren't the strongest, but luckily they're there more for texture than meaning. The ambient drones of sweeps of "V" do well enough without, and "Sunrized" adds some mellow breaks for a warm atmosphere, while "Glass Alley" brings back the 4/4, though accompanied by more vocals.

Sinner DC - Crystallized If I told you Sinner DC sits somewhere between Sigur Rós, Nathan Fake and The Field with a bluesey, melancholy bent, many of you would run for the hills faster than you can say "Berlin. Published, Thu, 21 May 2009.

Talk about Sinner DC - Crystallized

Mightsinger
Sinner DC's CRYSTALLIZED starts slowly, with the steady thump of "Go From the Stream," but "Anyway" brings in the symphonic rock feel. "Golden Horses" brings back the galloping techno, though with some flanged rock guitar overtones. But the grandeur of "Digital Dust" recalls some of M83's epics, and "Coast" lets down the album with a stately grace. Nice!
