Radio Moscow (Russian: Pадио Москва, tr. Radio Moskva), also known as Radio Moscow World Service, was the official international broadcasting station of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics until 1993. It was reorganized with a new name: Voice of Russia. which has also since been reorganized and renamed Radio Sputnik.

World Service’, produced by Metallica’s live sound engineeer ‘Big ‘ Mick Hughes, finally saw a release through Status Records in 1991. Although the bulk of the guitars on the record had been fully recorded with Brian Tatler, the solos were re-recorded by Rob James. The album also featured vocalist Paul Bridgewater (ex Slowburner), who later took time out to record an unreleased album with Tapanzee prior to rejoining Radio Moscow for the album ‘Get A New Life’.
