This album was one of many that Suffolk sold through two-minute TV commercials. With eleven full-length songs per side, the record pushed running time limits. To fit everything, some bass vibrancy was sacrificed. Hot sax solos are the highlight of "Glen Island Special," a swingin' number that must've gone over big at the legendary nightspot where Miller and the guys often performed and broadcast band remotes from.
