Luis Eduardo Aute Gutiérrez (born 13 September 1943) is a Philippine-born Spanish singer, songwriter, film director, actor, sculptor, writer and painter. Luis Eduardo Aute was born in Manila on 13 September 1943. His father, a Catalan (from Catalonia, Spain) worked there for a tobacco company since 1919 and married a Spanish Filipina. In his childhood, Aute studied at the De La Salle School, where he learned English and Tagalog, which is used within his family.

Luis Eduardo Aute was created in Manila on Sept 13, 1943. His dad, a Catalan (from Catalonia, Spain) proved helpful there for the tobacco firm since 1919 and wedded a Filipina of Spanish descent. In his childhood, Aute examined on the De La Salle School, where he discovered British and Tagalog, which can be used within his family. Young, he showed uncommon ability being a painter and sketcher. Another youth passion was movie theater; his curiosity about filmmaking was abetted by his parents' offering him an 8 mm camera, which he utilized to create home-made movies along with his friends.

It only contains songs from the two studio albums that Luis Eduardo Aute recorded for Fonomusic: 1979's Alma and 1981's Fuga. But those were pretty important albums with many songs that would become classics in his repertoire, like "No Te Desnudes Todavia," "Pasaba por Aqui," "Siento Que Te Estoy Perdiendo," "Mira Que Eres Canalla," and "Vailima.
