The album contains previously unreleased material from the time period of his albums Strictly 4 My . Thug Life: Volume 1 and Me Against the World. The first release on Amaru, R U Still Down? (Remember Me) was overseen by 2Pac's mother, Afeni Shakur. This album airs his views on life from a time before he became involved in the controversial East Coast–West Coast rivalry. Warner’s music is probably best described as Lou Reed meets Tomas Pynchon, while Bob Dylan has referred to Dave and Richard Clapton as his favourite Australian artists.

The time is now For us to stand and fight The enemy has amassed a force That we must defeat The emperor has implored us all Stand tall and fight Listen to these words I say One shot, one kill. Desolation, obliteration, not one soul spared. I am your commissar general These words that I say to you Come from the emperor on high: 'Give it all you've got, the enemy must be killed Destroy the Xenos breed, for the Imperium!' Desolation, Obliteration, not one soul spared.

I'm living in that 21st Century, doing something mean to it Do it better than anybody you ever seen do it Screams from the haters, got a nice ring to it I guess every superhero need his theme music. No one man should have all that power The clock’s ticking, I just count the hours Stop tripping, I'm tripping off the power (21st-Century schizoid man).

It's such a lie But the words keep ringing in my ears tonight Though all I want is to be someone else Undone Lost in these thoughts and feeling all alone. This has to be the last time I feel this way. So hollow Unwanted Please save me from the dark I'll sever whatever Separates me from your arms Waiting one more day is one day too late God I'm holding onto you I've got nothing to lose.
