Marcus Fjellström (1979 - September 2017) was a Swedish musician, composer and multimedia artist. His work ranges from the purely orchestral through electronic music and audiovisual work. He has worked with the Swedish Royal Ballet and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra as well as various ensembles and soloists. Marcus' relationship with music started, unsurprisingly, early on in his life.

It feels unreal to have to write these words and to accept that he is no longer with us in life. Marcus was one of the most beloved, funny and warm-hearted people, and we will miss him immensely. Born in 1979 and classically trained as a composer, Fjellström was as comfortable working with the Swedish Royal Ballet and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra as he was releasing bracing experimental recordings on Lampse and Miasmah. He later embraced filmmaking and created many audiovisual projects throughout the last decade.
