Florencio Coronado Gutiérrez was born on the 23rd of Februari 1918 in Ayacucho (the heart of Peru) and died in Lima on the 23rd of October 2009. In 1958 he was declared "premier of the world". He toured trough Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. A famous journalist once noticed : "Florencio Coronado isn't as much a harpist of Peru, he is an American performer, in his fingers quiver ten centuries of history". The CD starts with the stunningly smooth virtuosity of Florencio Coronado on arpa on "Farewell to Ayacucho Town," a traditional arpa piece, and then on "El Condor Pasa," which is actually a piece composed by Spaniard Daniel Robles in the 20th century to sound like traditional Andean music. Coronado's smoothness is then followed by the rougher work of blind arpist Leandro Ramos on a pair of tracks. Following the section of arpa works, there is a section of mountain music that has made its way into Lima, mostly by a fiesta group known as Familia Rodriguez, and a section.

Estadio Florencio Sola (nicknamed "Lencho") is a multi-use stadium in Banfield, Argentina. It is currently used primarily for football matches, and it is the home of Banfield of the Argentine Primera División. The stadium has a capacity of 34,901 people and was built in 1940.
