Bristol Stomp" is a song written in 1961 by Kal Mann and Dave Appell, two executives with the Cameo-Parkway record label, for The Dovells, an a cappella singing group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who recorded the song for Cameo-Parkway late that year. Appell also produced and arranged the song and his Cameo-Parkway's house band served as the studio musicians on the song.

The hotly-anticipated BIMM album 2015 Brighton/Bristol has now been officially released. The tracks for the album were selected and compiled from over 300 original demos, submitted from students at BIMM Brighton and Bristol. Nine BIMM Brighton artists made the final cut and six from the BIMM Bristol campus. The standard of material submitted for consideration was incredibly high and the lucky panel faced a tough but highly.

The BIMM Album Bristol 2016 features ten original tracks from our talented BIMM students, as selected by an independent panel of industry experts. The album’s release follows months of hard work and we couldn’t be more proud of the final outcome. This year’s competition was possibly our most fierce yet, with so many fantastic tracks. Every demo we received was worthy of making it onto the record and our tutors had a real task when selecting the 25 best tracks to send onto our independent panel. After much deliberation, the panel narrowed the album down to ten final tracks
