an overdose may cause a ‘peaceful’ death but the life of a heroin addict is anything but peaceful so for anyone loving an addict their death is anything but peaceful. as a suicide heroin may do the trick well but this question isolates the death against the life and gives it glamor with the word ‘peaceful’. there is not one thing peaceful about the horror, terror, sadness, fury, grief and inability to stop that affects the addict and all of his/her loved ones. Just writing this brings back all memories of the horror of watching this man die over several year. .so NO, peaceful is not the word. This would probably be the most peaceful way to die if I had to choose a way. Bu. ternity is a long time to regret that decision if you do it purposefully.
