Evening, Morning is the third track off of Bombay Bicycle Club’s debut album I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose. Depending on your take, the title references either the opposite schedules of two people in a relationship, or a relationship in which one person is cheating. Either way, it is referring to a dysfunctional relationship. Cheating take: One person is always out at night having an affair, and coming home very late at night. Thus when they come home it feels like evening to them, but in reality it’s so late at night that it’s in fact morning.

Bombay Bicycle Club are an English indie rock band from Crouch End, London, consisting of Jack Steadman (lead vocals, guitar and piano), Jamie MacColl (guitar), Suren de Saram (drums) and Ed Nash (bass). They are guitar-fronted and have experimented with different genres, including folk, electronica, world music and indie rock. The band were given the opening slot on 2006's V Festival after winning a competition. They subsequently released two EPs and their debut single "Evening/Morning".
