Their name - the German word for sound - sums up their cool detachment and love of synth bleeps, ticking drums and fragile rhythms. Matthews rambles through a fog of obscurities; half automaton, half mental patient. Bass-player Isabel Waidner adds shards of unsubtle bass to Keisuke Hiratsuka's sparse percussion. It's more of a manifesto than an album, and each pretty melody is laid waste by artistic pretensions. Only Help Is on Its Way writhes with sex and vulnerability

The Yellow Sound (in German, Der Gelbe Klang) is an experimental theater piece originated by the Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky. Created in 1909, the work was first published in The Blue Rider Almanac in 1912. The Yellow Sound was the "earliest and most influential" of four "color-tone dramas" that Kandinsky conceived for the theater between 1909 and 1914; the others were titled The Green Sound, Black and White, and Violet.

Poor, downtrodden Klang is always made fun of as the hillbilly of the Valley. On FML traffic days, it takes 2 hours. But we’ve heard that it could take longer for some men to appease a ballistic woman, so what are ya’ll complainin’ about? Some people have even been so far along deluded by their Geografi teachers to believe that Klang is from another country. Yes we should tax you the people coming in for Bak Kut Teh and seafood.

High Noon is the title of "Best of" and rarities collection by Mark Heard, released in 1993, on Heard's own Fingerprint Records.

The sound was heard as far away as Australia, over 2,100 miles away. Although, after 3000 miles, the sound waves become weaker, they were still detected by barometers from all over the globe. Over the next 24 hours, the effects were witnessed an increase in air pressure in the Indian subcontinent, Australia, then in Africa and Europe.
