White Lion was a Danish/American rock band that was formed in New York City in 1983 by Danish vocalist/rhythm guitarist Mike Tramp and American lead guitarist Vito Bratta. Mainly active in the 1980s and early 1990s, releasing their debut album Fight to Survive in 1985. The band achieved success with their No. 8 hit "Wait" and No. 3 hit "When the Children Cry" from their second album, the double platinum selling Pride.

Nomad is the ninth solo album by former White Lion and Freak of Nature lead singer, Mike Tramp, released August 28, 2015 on Target Records. The album completes a trilogy of albums which included Cobblestone Street in 2013 and his last release Museum in 2014. Tramp has returned with a full band line up for this album which includes long-time producer, engineer and guitarist Soren Andersen, their Rock’n’Roll Circuz drummer Morten Hellborn, keyboardist Morten Buchholz and bassist Jesper Haugaard.

Mike Tramp announced that the new studio album "Nomad" will be released internationally on August 28, 2015. For almost a half-decade, Mike Tramp has been on a worldwide journey, touring and living as a modern life nomad, in his quest for personal and artistic freedom and staying true to the idea of the rock n roll troubadour. Each previous album gave me the freedom to follow the songs wherever they wanted to go, and with Nomad my vision was clear as a bell, once again I just had to be who I am. – Mike Tramp.
