This continental delight from 1970 must have dropped from a Little Green Bag, given how its tasteful blend of styles is so consummate and eclectic. And like that George Baker hit, this album has quirks of AM appeal. They keep their instrumental trade-offs short and sweet (for There’s Lot of Fish in the Sea ) sooth with the blues (as on the detectibly loungy I Do And I Did ) and keep their drama packed with humor aplenty (the frantic, windy ride at The Ball.

Aunt Mary came from the small town of Fredrikstad in Ostfold, but were one of the best Norwegian bands of the early seventies. Their first album was recorded and released in Denmark, as they lived there at the time. Aunt Mary lacked distinction at this early stage with various imitations of Jethro Tull, Traffic and Led Zeppelin among the short tracks
