Complete sua coleção de The Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa. The first thing one will remark is that this album is maybe their finest moment ever. Then, to anyone who heard The Ecstacy Of Saint Theresa's previous album, In Dust 3, the jump to Slowthinking will be hard and easy at the same time. The electronic edge returns : the delicate voice of Katerina Winterova recover cleverly crafted beats, compromised of glitches and hard explosions, and that alone could be breath-taking. Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa. Slowthinking Tracklist. 2. Local Distortion Lyrics.
The last album of czech Shoegaze group Ecstasy of saint theresa. THE ECSTASY OF ST. THERESA is an exceptional band. In their own unique way, they have always attempted to find their own sound and expression with which they have jointly dictated the direction of alternative music in their homeland of the Czech Republic. From 2002's Slowthinking they were augmented by a number of musicians who provide woodwinds, brass, cello, double bass and "noises", bringing together real instruments and a subtle array of electronics. The shoe-gazing elements of the mind-nineties have been superceded by a glitchier psychedelic soundscape and fragile child-like vocals that bring to mind Hanne Hukkelberg, Emiliana Torrini or Mm. The singles from the album were Local Distortion and I'm (Not Really) Optimistic, and Sensor is also included.
