Songs About Fucking is the second full-length and final studio album by the punk rock band Big Black, released in 1987 by Touch and Go records. Included are covers of Kraftwerk's "The Model" (in a remixed version from the one on their recent B-side) and, on the CD version, Cheap Trick's "He's a Whore". Steve Albini has said that Songs About Fucking is the Big Black album that he is most satisfied with.

Lungs featured Albini's machine-gun guitar and vocals, accompanied only by Roland the drum machine. The following year's Bulldozer added a bassist and second guitarist for an even more punishing sound, while Racer-X further refined the Big Black's sonic assault. This album is blunt and unapologetic,and if one wants to apply the punk tag to anything this is the kind of album it fits like a glove. If you cant stand to be reminded of the sometimes cruel realities that occur in our world it may be an idea to approach this album with caution. Yes it paints disturbing pictures,and bangs.

Though containing later material, The Rich Man's Eight Track Tape is actually the best place to go for a first dose of Big Black. The earlier stuff found here isn't up to snuff when compared to Atomizer and Songs About Fucking, but it's still remarkably riveting.
