Aircraft noise pollution is a harmful noise effect produced by any aircraft or its components during the various phases of a flight. Sound production is divided into three categories: Mechanical noise-rotation of the engine parts, most noticeable when fan blades reach supersonic speeds. Aerodynamic noise-from the airflow around the surfaces of the aircraft, especially when flying low at high speeds.

Assholemouthead is a project by David Lucien Matheke devoted purely to making harsh noise. Assholemouthead has released EP's on Love Torure Records and Proc-Records.

Noise is any disturbing or unwanted sound, and noise pollution affects people's health and quality of life. Cars, trains, airplanes and other forms of transportation are some of the worst offenders when it comes to noise pollution, but roadworks, gardening equipment and entertainment systems also play a role. Prolonged high levels of noise can cause hearing loss and stress-related illnesses.

C) The International Noise Awareness Day was started by the American Centre for Hearing and Communication in 1995. The aim of this day, which takes place every year in April, is to raise awareness among the people of the noise problem and the risks it makes. On that day people are asked to turn off noise sources such as TV sets and auto engines for a few hours and to enjoy the silence.
