Long Distance is the third studio album by the American band Ivy. It was released on November 8, 2000, in Japan, while the US version was released on July 10, 2001, by Nettwerk. A departure from Ivy's previous studio albums Realistic (1995) and Apartment Life (1997), Long Distance was influenced by new wave, but maintained Ivy's signature blend of indie pop and indie rock music

The Halls of Ivy featured Ronald Colman as William Todhunter Hall, the president of small, Midwestern Ivy College, and his wife, Victoria, a former British musical comedy star who sometimes felt the tug of her former profession, and followed their interactions with students, friends, and college trustees.

The Sportsmen Quartet is a singing group, known for The Jack Benny Program (1950), The Return of Gilbert & Sullivan (1952) and Footlight Varieties (1951). Porky's Duck Hunt (1937). A Sunbonnet Blue (1937). Love and Curses (1938). The Penguin Parade (1938). The Night Watchman (1938).
