Jupiter is the second full-length album by the alternative/metal band Cave In, released in summer 2000. It marked a change in the band's style, as this album saw the band move away from their previous hardcore sound by starting to experiment with more elements of space rock and psychedelic rock. The album might betray fans of Cave In's earlier albums, 1999's Beyond Hypothermia (a collection of various sessions) and Until Your Heart Stops. Their metal roots are still apparent, but their new sound will, uh, shatter preconceptions. Their last release, the Creative Eclipses EP, hinted at this development, but only now have Cave In fully suffused their music with heavy prog and space-rock flourishes. Antenna is the third studio album and the first major label album by the American rock band Cave In. Released in 2003, it was Cave In's first and only album for RCA before they were dropped by the record label and re-signed with Hydra Head. Antenna marked a shift in Cave In's musical style which, while critically praised, was met with distaste from longtime fans. In the midst of such polarization, the band would later return to its previous style, resulting in Perfect Pitch Black in 2005.
