Axl Rose (born William Bruce Rose J. raised as William Bruce Bailey; born February 6, 1962) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and musician. He is the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, and has also been the band's sole constant member since its inception in 1985. In addition to Guns N' Roses, he also toured with Australian rock band AC/DC in 2016 during the final 2 legs of their Rock or Bust World Tour when Brian Johnson took a break due to hearing problems.

Rose opened up about Stradlin's absence from GNR's Not in This Lifetime Tour during a recent interview conducted prior to the band's fall run of South American dates - though he professed not to know much more about Stradlin's state of mind than anyone else.
