Jirku / Judge - Plusism flac album

Tomas Jirku and Robin Judge join forces for PLUSISM, their first collaboration, full of subtle clicks and beats. As "Sputnik" slowly throbs into life, "Red Light" and "Smorgasbord" shift into dub techno mode with quiet reverb effects. The tones throughout the album are warm and inviting, luring the listener into a blissful state, as on "Bike Festivous," though "Aftermath" brings in little sparkles of brightness and "Klinker" goes slightly more industrial with its sounds. The piano chords that twinkle on "Coffee Grind" contrast the spaciousness of "Lava" before the deeper "Duotone" comes to to wrap up. A pleasing listen.

This album is pure gold. Just like a good wine, it takes a lot of time to develop, and even for hardcore minimal-freaks (like me), it takes time to get into.. but once you are "in", you dont want to leave it. awesome minimal arrangements with pure funk within. i highly recommend!
