It was composed by Pickett and Steve Cropper at the historic Lorraine Motel in Memphis where Martin Luther King, Jr. would later be murdered in April 1968. The Midnight Hour Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge, alongside a tight rhythm section and a full orchestra. It was during that tour last year that we decided to record a live album, capturing this new experience. The music you hear in our studio album is how we mean it to sound. But it’s something totally different when we have an audience in front of us. This recording is us wanting to give people a chance to hear what they can expect when they see us live.
In the Midnight Hour (оригинал Roxy Music). В полуночный час (перевод Dan UndeaD). I'm gonna wait till the midnight hour. Я дождусь полуночного часа, That's when my love comes tumbling down. Именно тогда я содрогаюсь от любви. Я дождусь полуночного часа, When there's no one else around.
of the Luther Vandross classic So Amazing. We opened up the musical compositions a little more and wanted to create a soundtrack that you just don’t hear anymore. We wanted to have a rhythm section and an orchestra. We wanted our viewers to see that character grow. When did recording The Midnight Hour begin? Ali: I think we started in 2013. We met when Adrian was doing the Souls of Mischief album. He had asked me to come in to do the DJ character for the album and then he asked if we could work on music.
When you're little, night time is scary because there are monsters hiding right under the bed. When you get older, the monsters are different. Self doubt, loneliness, regret. And though you may be older and wiser, you still find yourself scared of the dark. Its the easiest thing to do. You just close your eyes. But for so many of us, sleep seems out of grasp
