Wasted Youth - Reagan's In flac album

The band's first album Reagan's In, is in the early West Coast hardcore punk music style. It is known for the Pushead artwork of Ronald Reagan on the front cover. The back of the album features Edward Colver's photograph of an upside down stagediver in midair. Though this album consists of ten tracks, it is less than fifteen minutes long. Chett and Paolo Rossi (the last generation of Wasted Youth front men) went on to start an indie label "Open Circle Records" in Glendale, California (Open Circle released Get Out Of My Yard LP). The final creation of Wasted Youth was a successful "Crack Across America Tour" in the late 1980s to support "Get Out Of My Yard. Michael Licalsi, a club and show promoter from the SF Bay Area, served as their manager, with Louis (VideoLouis) Elovitz taking part in management for a period of time as well.

Often compared to Black Flag, Wasted Youth was a great punk band in its own right and was among the exciting bands to come from the Los Angeles punk scene of the late '70s/early '80s. If you're looking for slickness, you won't find it on Reagan's In, a ten-song EP that first came out in 1981. Reagan's In is about as raw as it gets - not only does the production (or lack of production) reject slickness completely, but also, the lyrics are extremely raw, direct, and gut-level
