With their third album Underdog, they took a new artistic direction and moved away from their underground roots by signing with the major record label, Phonogram Records. Two other albums released were . E and Deja Voodoo, before they broke up in 1996. In 2006, Jingo de Lunch played two reunion shows at the White Trash Fast Food in Berlin. Biography by Chris True. A German band that brought together five experienced punk rockers from a handful of bands (Tom Schwoll of Zerstörte Jugend, Sepp Ehrensberger of Vorkriegsjugend, Steve Hahn of Kult-Huren, Henning Menk. ead Full Biography. The Independent Years 1987-1989.

JINGO DE LUNCH was a german punk band based in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin (Germany) and was founded in April 1987. Before they founded the band, all of its members have been involved into various other projects: Tom Schwoll played in many German punk bands, such as Zerstörte Jugend (1983). In 2007, they released a CD called "The Independent Years" (1987-1989). It's a collection of remixed and remastered tracks out of their first albums Perpetuum Mobile (1987) and Axe To Grind (1989), plus Subhumans "Fuck You" (a cover recorded in 1991 to appear on Berlin Bullets compilation) and the rare Cursed Earth 12, released as limited EP in 1988 by Bronzen Records. They also celebrated their 20 years anniversary with a German and Italian tour in September 2007. In August 2008 they had been support band for The Stooges' Berlin concert

Jin-go-lo-ba" (or "Jingo") is a song by Nigerian percussionist Babatunde Olatunji, featured on his first album Drums of Passion (1959). The song featured "African-derived rhythms and chants" along with "swooping orchestration".

Jingo De Lunch were a "hardcore" band from Berlin formed in 1987 they had a long musical career releasing a live album as recently as 2011 however I'm only concerning this post with their Independent early years preceding them signing to a major in 1990  . Next up "Cursed Earth" 10" (1988) and "Axe To Grind" (1989) now these were taken off a good quality VBR download of "The Independent years" Comp on Boss Tuneage but when I broke the CD Up into it's parts because 1: It contained Cursed Earth 10" on CD in it's entiritey and it was right in the middle so i stripped.
