Here we have one of my fave albums of all time. Pure cheese-pop delight!! I picked up this album solely because of the title. I had no idea what to expect, and I was more than pleasantly surprised. For years I knew nothing about Goddess other than this brilliant masterpiece. Obsessed with knowing more, I found out that Goddess is Elvira Valentine (awesome name!), a Dutch singer who used to do back-up for Falco, among others. Then to my delight I discovered that she became part of a pop duo called Say When!, along with Ingrid Simons, who later became known as .

Goddess was a Dutch Eurodance act by producers Rob and Ferdi Bolland, fronted by singer Elvira Valentine. They are best known for the 1992 hit single "Sexual". Valentine (born in Amsterdam on January 28, 1962) started her career as a backing vocalist for artists such as Falco and Joe Cocker; she was also part of the duos Say When! (with Ingrid ". Queen" Simons) and Club Risqué (with Daryl White)

Goddess is the debut studio album by American singer and songwriter Banks. It was released on September 5, 2014, by Harvest Records. The album spawned four singles: "Warm Water", "Brain", "Drowning", and "Beggin for Thread". A companion remix album, Goddess Remixes, was released digitally on March 23, 2015.

Goddess released The Sexual Album in 1992, and while it did not chart, the single "Sexual" peaked at on the Billboard Hot 100, staying on the charts for ten weeks. They released a few more singles afterwards, without the same success. Valentine died from cancer in 2002. The Bolland brothers, who had produced a number of electronic music records since the early 1970s, have been inactive since the end of the 1990s. The Sexual Album (1992).
