Beach Fossils are an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2009. The group currently includes Dustin Payseur, Jack Doyle Smith and Tommy Davidson. They are known for their lo-fi, atmospheric sound, confessional and nostalgic lyrics, and Payseur's laid back vocal style. Beach Fossils, along with fellow Captured Tracks label mates DIIV, Wild Nothing, and Mac Demarco, are considered forerunners in the lo-fi dream pop sound that blossomed out of the underground indie scene in the 2010s.

During summer 2018 I discovered this bike path in the city (Minneapolis) that took 2 hours to ride and took me out into the forest and stream and lakeside all the while playing BF Pandora station through my speaker.
