Talk about Hirax - Hirax

This demo fucking rules. I'm honestly kind of surprised, it just sounds great. It's rollicking speed/heavy metal with some great riffs, fist-pumping choruses and some god damn amazing vocals. I was reading around about how hard to find this demo used to be. Now that it's readily available this should be on every thrash/speed/heavy lover's shelf. The tape also sounds fantastic. You'd expect a cassette of a thirty three year old metal demo to sound awful but the only complaint here is a kind of muffling on the entire mix. You cans till hear all the instruments and they still carry power.

Absolutely love this demo, been on steady rotation since I first heard it over a decade ago. Beats every other Hirax release hands down (for me, at least).Fuckin classic, I'm glad it's easily accessible now. The original demo sounded somewhat muffled anyways, so it doesn't bother me that this tape is the same - sounds exactly like the Hirax demo tracks I've been listening to for years. Great release, and you're right. Crucial release for anyone into heavy metal and speed/thrash.

Maybe one the best pieces of heavy metal ever recorded in the United States of America. This demo has it all, vocals, riffs, energy, soloing, great production. See you in hell fuckers.
