He worked long and hard studying Gypsy jazz before the release of his 2007 album Comme un Manouche Sans Guitare (Like a Gypsy Without a Guitar). Dutronc cites the incomparable jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt as one of his main influences, and the inspiration is clear throughout the album. The first single, "J'Aime Plus Paris," was an immediate hit in Dutronc's home country of France. Clever lyrics blended with his skillful guitar playing make this album stand out. Track Listing.
