The seasons may change, but Spring King's banger ratio remains intact. The Summer’ is, according to the band, an ode to the Beach Boys. You can sort of see it too. Driving like a mad bastard, it’s not a woozy, melodic like-for-like tribute act, but rather a song soaked in the spirit of Californian sun. Or, at the very least, a vat of Sunny Delight; the chorus blinding with its euphoric sing-a-long charms, the verses showing something deeper at work.
