Everything began in 1998 when the brothers Mami Miyoshi (vocals and battery) and Makoto Miyoshi (Guitars) made a demo tape of their music. After this, Satomi Makoshi (Bass) and Akiko Matsuda (keyboard & Saxphone) were join to the group. The recording of that tape took to them to record an indie mini-album Jet Plane.

Montevideo, God Bless You! is a 2010 Serbian film directed by Dragan Bjelogrlić about the events leading to the participation of the Yugoslavia national football team at the first FIFA World Cup in Montevideo, Uruguay in July 1930. The film gained considerable media attention throughout 2010 and achieved significant box office success in Serbia since its release on December 21, 2010.

Rumania Montevideo is a Japanese pop-band under Giza Studio label active in years 1998–2002. In 2019, was announced resume of their music activities through social network. Mami Miyoshi (三好真美) - vocalist, drummer, lyricist (1998–2002, 2019–). Makoto Miyoshi (三好誠) - guitarist, composer, arranger (1998–2002, 2019–).
