Karsten Brustad (born 16 August 1959) is a Norwegian contemporary composer and guitarist. Brustad studied classical guitar in the first half of the 80s at the Buskerud og Østlandets Musikkonservatorium (today a part of the Norwegian Academy of Music) Brustad has written works for orchestra, choir, chamber ensembles as well as solo instruments. He has composed a number of electro-acoustic works for other art forms, TV, video and theatre
