Dave Edmunds - Rockin' flac album

Information is a 1983 album by Welsh rock musician Dave Edmunds. The album was his second release for Arista Records (in the UK) and Columbia Records (in the US). Information marked the first time in Edmunds' solo career that he collaborated with an outside producer. Electric Light Orchestra frontman Jeff Lynne produced two songs on the album: the title track, and the Lynne-penned "Slipping Away".

Dave Edmunds' music in the 80's and 90's was dominated by the wall of sound basis that he created when Jeff Lynne took over his production chores. The result was one of his most popular musical periods, following his award winning production work for The Stray Cats and the breakup of Rockpile. This disc compiles many of those great tracks plus live versions of earlier hits. For those who are unfamiliar with Dave Edmunds and may avoid music labeled as "New Wave" or "Alternative", this album sort of defies those labels. While definitely a different sound for the era (thus "new wave"), this album is heavily blues and rockabilly influenced with a traditional early rock and roll sound.

I Hear You Rockin’ is a live album released by The Dave Edmunds Band in 1986 on Columbia LP record 40603. This live album was tweaked in the studio by Edmunds, who is known for his production perfectionism. It was to be his last solo effort for Columbia, and mostly features songs already associated with Edmunds. Two songs were previously un-recorded by him, Paralyzed and The Wanderer.
