Apocalypso is the second studio album by Australian electronic dance music duo The Presets. The album was released by record label Modular on 12 April 2008 in Australia, on 13 May in the United States, and 2 June in the United Kingdom. The album features the singles "My People", "This Boy's in Love", "Talk Like That", "Yippiyo-Ay", "If I Know You" and "Kicking and Screaming".

With Apocalypso Australia natives The Presets have surpassed their previous work, Beams, by a mile and crafted one of the best albums in existence. From the emotional highs of This Boys In Love to the sensual yet quirky Talk Like That Apocalypso tugs at the listeners body and mind; singing along and dancing become inevitable. The album opens with Kicking and Screaming and forgoes the kicking bit and moves right into screaming territory. Each track stands on it's own lyrically, and while some may argue that some lines are just rhyming nonsense it'd be an oversight to dismiss the any as just soulless filler.

The Presets sophomore effort, Apocalypso, does not disappoint in the slightest! The formula is the same, the content is as high fueled as "Beams" if not more! I feel it to be a much more consistent and well rounded album than "Beams" Of course there were hits off that record that are hard to surpass, but this album delivers a whole slough of new work that is sure to get the bodies moving.
