In 2004 Votchi released their second album Unicorn. At the end of the year the band has reached the highest level so far: they were awarded first prize in the Golden Nightingale contest in the category budding artists and they reached the 6th position in the category bands. In October 2006 Votchi supported Deep Purple in ČEZ Arena in Ostrava. It should also be mentioned that Votchi played two gigs in the Liverpool Cavern Club; no Czech bands had played there before.

The Unicorn is the debut studio album of the Canadian Irish folk music group The Irish Rovers, released in 1967 and topped the charts in 1968. The title track "The Unicorn", a recording of Shel Silverstein's poem, featured Glen Campbell on lead guitar, and reached in the US Adult Contemporary Charts, in the . Hot 100, in Canada, and in Ireland. Despite having virtually nothing to do with Ireland or Irish culture, the song remains popular in Irish pubs to this day.
