Let us hope this is Tony Bennett's final album, as it is sad to hear this great legend limp to the finish line. I've heard people remark that he sounds great for 92 years old. That's the problem- NO ONE sounds good at 92 even Tony. On most tracks he sounds hoarse and the once vibrant voice has lost its gusto and expression. He tries but notes that once were hit so effortlessly now are no longer in the bag of tricks.

Love Is Here to Stay is a collaborative studio album by Tony Bennett and Diana Krall, released on September 14, 2018, via Verve Records/Columbia Records. The album features the New York-based jazz group the Bill Charlap Trio. The album was released both as a CD containing tracks 13 & 14 exclusive to this version and an exclusive red-colored vinyl LP. All songs in the album are from the Great American Songbook and were composed by George Gershwin, with lyrics by Ira Gershwin.

Tony Bennett’s recent album, Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet To Come won a Grammy award this past February, while Diana Krall recently won two Juno awards for her last recording, Turn Up The Quiet, including the prestigious Producer of The Year award. This autumn, the two will appear on several national US television shows performing songs from their new album, including The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America. Love Is Here To Stay is out on 14 September.
