Death Before Dishonor (DBD or DB4D for short) is an American heavy hardcore band from Boston, Massachusetts. They are influenced by artists such as Blood For Blood, Madball, Agnostic Front, SSD, Suicidal Tendencies, Pennywise, Death Threat. Their initial releases were on Spook City Records; the group signed with Bridge Nine Records in 2005. - re-issue contains 4 bonus tracks (from split CD with Nourish the Flame).

Death Before Dishonor is "Boston Hardcore at it's finest! ", according to themselves (and nobody else). They're rather obsessed with being extremely hardcore, and definitely more hardcore than anybody else. This album is full of rather heavy and dirty metalcore riffs. It starts out with a pretty cool riff on the "Intro". Sadly, this seems to be the very same guitar riff they recycle and work around on every single track on Count Me In. Each song sound essentially very much like the next song. The only thing that really makes you feel like there's any progression at all, is the fact that the drums get somewhat heavier along the way.
