Phantom is the second album by the French metal band Betraying the Martyrs. The album was released on 15 July 2014 through Sumerian Records. It is the first and only album to feature drummer Mark Mironov. The first song to be released from the album was "Where the World Ends", released on 28 May 2014. The song was first performed live on 25 May in Lyon, France. On 17 June, a lyric video for the second single, "Jigsaw", was released.

Breathe in Life is an album worth listening to if you are into such bands as Winds of Plague or Born of Osiris or any of the sort. This debut album has many great moments, but also some moments that you are not really sure why they did that. To start off, this album's strong points are definitely the musicianship that this band withholds. Betraying the Martyrs really have a great cooperation between the instruments and really bring together a great sound. Overall this album is by far one of the best debuts ive heard and there is definitely more to come from Betraying the Martyrs. I gave this album a 17/20, a solid score because a very solid and well put together album.

Betraying the Martyrs were founded in 2008. Before joining the band, Czaicki played in the French metalcore outfit, Darkness Dynamite. Guillet was the lead vocalist and keyboardist in the post-hardcore band, The Beverly Secret. Between April and May 2011, the group completed a second European tour, the "Breathe In Life Tour", for the promotion of their debut album. The tour included performances in Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Support on the "Breathe In Life Tour" was provided by Russian deathcore band, My Autumn, and Despite My Deepest Fear

Breathe In Life is the debut album of French metal band Betraying the Martyrs released on 20 September 2011 by record labels Sumerian/Listenable. It is the first release with current British singer Aaron Matts and also with guitarist Lucas D'angelo. The album was mixed by Charles J. Wall and the cover was created by the band bassist Valentin Hauser. It is the last album by the band to feature Antoine Salin on drums.
