Experimental Ottawa outfit Hilotrons are set to release their latest LP To Trip with Terpsichore next week, but you can stream the whole thing in advance, right here on Exclaim. Band leader Mike Dubue describes the album as "live to tape - a dirty ritual - a raw die. othing slow. It was recorded and at Bova Lab Studio by the band's own drummer Philip Shaw Bova. As promised by Dubue, the album is an energetic one from the get-go.

Hilotrons are a Canadian indie pop band. Based in Ottawa, the band's core members are the singer Mike Dubue and the drummer and engineer Philip Shaw Bova. Past members include Paul Hogan, Damian Sawka and Mike Schultz. The current line-up includes Pascal OfLaki, Philippe Charbonneau and Alex Moxon with, as an occasional guest, Adam Saikaley. Initially best known as an electronic dance music band, they soon began to incorporate a diverse blend of pop styles into their sound  . The band released its fifth album, To Trip With Terpsichore, on February 24, 2015.
