Nils Lofgren is a 1975 album by Nils Lofgren, also known as the "Fat Man Album". It was his first solo album, following the breakup of his group, Grin. The 1983 Rolling Stone Record Guide said it was a "tour de force of unquenchable vitality and disarming subtlety.

Nils Lofgren is a virtuoso rock guitarist who has recorded and performed with Bruce Springsteen as a member of the E Street Band, Ringo Starr and Neil Young. He enjoys a successful solo career as a founding member of the seventies group Grin through over 40 releases including Acoustic Live, The Loner – Nils Sings Neil and an extensive box set retrospective Face The Music. Teaches an online Guitar School for Beginner and Intermediate players. Nils will be hitting the road with a full band in May in support of the album. Versatile songwriter, singer and guitarist, Nils has been working professionally since age 17. He has toured with Neil Young, Ringo Starr and is currently a member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.

As its title indicates, Nils Lofgren's new album Blue With Lou is a nod to the late Lou Reed, with six tracks Lofgren and Reed co-wrote - five of which have never been released.
