Anthony Martin (born 4 December 1975), better known as Lutan Fyah, is a Jamaican musician, singer, and member of the Rastafari movement Bobo Shanti. Born in Spanish Town, Saint Catherine Parish, Jamaica, Martin studied Architecture at the University of Technology and played professional football for Constant Spring . before focusing on music.

What a way to start an album! Although it is probably one of the highlights of the 13 tracks included, all of the following have something special in store as well. Another of my personal favourites, Put A Fyah In De captivates through the gentle instrumentation and Lutan's tender vocals. Paying his respect to any Real Woman out there, this song follows an innovative rhythmic pattern, this innovation being one of the factors that make this whole production so exceptional. Make sure you close your eyes and listen to the music behind Mr. Fyah's commanding voice - the little sonic surprises in instrumentation and riddim construction are well worth your repeated attention.
